Juanita Fay Conrad, age 79, of Clinton, Missouri passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri. Juanita's wishes were to be cremated. There are no services at this time.

Juanita Fay Conrad (Nita) was born February 13, 1944 in Louisville, KY, to Harry Bennett and Nora. Juanita was united in marriage to George Curtis Conrad on March 9, 1963 in the chapel at Ft. Knox, KY.

She was an amazing cook who wanted to feed everyone. She never knew a stranger and cared so deeply for others. She loved to have people around and loved to play pranks, if you needed a laugh you were sure to have the best belly laughs with her. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Mt. Zion had a very special place in her heart along with all of the lifelong friends she made while she was there.

Juanita is survived by her loving daughter Kim Bowers, Clinton, MO, grandchildren, Jacqueline (Jac) Bowers and Charles Timothy Bowers (Tim), sister Barbara Hawkins, North Carolina, and lots of very special nieces and nephews, other friends and a host of other relatives.

Juanita and husband George Conrad had something so very special, a relationship that was so gentle, genuine and pure. She loved her friends, and they loved her. Juanita was such a joy and loved to laugh.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
