Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Deepwater, Missouri with visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will be at 3:00 PM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made to the Joyce E. Wolfe Memorial Fund or the First Baptist Church of Deepwater and can be left in care of the funeral home.
Joyce was a woman of faith, giving her life to Jesus at a young age. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Deepwater. When Joyce lived in Buckner, Missouri she was a founding member of Anchor Point Baptist in Independence, Missouri.
Joyce loved her family and friends; her house was always full and loud. She was Mom and Grandma to all her "adopted" kids and grandkids. No one ever went hungry. When the kids became unruly, a Hot Wheels track was always handy!
Joyce's hobby was her family.
She loved her Chiefs football, anything purple, collecting dolls, putting puzzles together and strawberry shakes.
Joyce loved road trips; it didn't matter where as long as we were home for dinner. She enjoyed the trips that dad and her would go on. They took lots of pictures along the way.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ralph Wolfe, her parents Virgil and Iva Kellough, 2 brothers; Leo Kellough, Leonard Kellough, one sister; Velma Stickley.
She leaves behind a legacy of memories and 6 children, 3 daughters; Velda Provance of Oak Grove, Missouri, Valerie and Mike Muller of Lowry City, Missouri, Monica Wolfe of Deepwater, Missouri, 3 sons; Lewis and Suzie Wolfe of Buckner, Missouri, Darrell Wolfe of Deepwater, Missouri, Gerald Wolfe and Mindy Davis of Lowry City, Missouri, 2 brothers; Gene Kellough of Buckner, Missouri, Allen and Janice Kellough of Independence, Missouri, 2 sisters; Lucille and Pearse McBride of Independence, Missouri, Louise Welker of Kansas City, Missouri, 23 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
