Joyce L. Kohl, age 69 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Sunday, December 11, 2011 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. Funeral services will be Friday, December 16, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. The family will receive friends one hour before the service on Friday at the chapel. Joyce was born in Tipton, Iowa the daughter of Floyd W. and Virginia Pursley Tipton. She was married to Jack R. Kohl. She was a former member of the Christian Womens Group "Aglow" and the Church of God in Portageville, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, David Jay Kohl.

She is survived by her husband, Jack of the home; two sons, Dennis Kohl and wife, Cindy of Wichita, Kansas and Thomas Kohl and wife, Pam of Pontiac, Illinois; one brother, Tom Tipton and wife, Becky of Carroll. Iowa; three grandchildren, Jordan Kohl and wife, Lorie, Christopher Kohl and Tia Kohl and one great grandson, Pierce Kohl.

Services have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton.
