Joseph L. "Joe" White of Clinton, Missouri passed away at the Christian Health Care - West, Springfield, Missouri, on Thursday, May 27, 2010. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 7, 2010 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Joe was born in
Clinton, Missouri the son of Lindsey F. and Lucy Amanda (Straw) White. He was a dedicated farmer. Joe loved to farm and he loved nature, music, and books. He was very proud of of his family. His laughter will be missed. He served in the U.S. Navy from l967-1973.

He is survived by his three daughters, Nancy Simpson of Nixa, Missouri, Sarah White of Lebanon, Missouri and Pamela Shelby of Detroit, Michigan; two sisters, Linda Persichetti of Anchorage, Alaska and Beth White of Ft. Worth, Texas and four grandchildren, Stone Simpson, Harper Jane Simpson, Lucy Mae Shelby and Marshall Winkler.
