John E. Stocking, age 71, of Clinton, passed away Monday, November 3, 2008 at his home.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Laurel Oaks Cemetery, Windsor, Missouri. John was born in Henry County, Missouri. He lived in Windsor where he worked for the city of Windsor for many years. He moved to Clinton ten years ago. He was a member of the Clinton Christian Church.

John is survived by two brothers, Eugene Stocking, Grand Junction, Colorado and Robert L. Stocking and wife Rosetta, Clinton, Missouri; one sister, Lucy Lindstrom, Clinton; sister-in-law, Dorothy Stocking, Clinton, Missouri; and a number of nieces and nephews.
