John Patrick Roney was the only child of Robert & Margaret (Hannon) Roney. When musical talent was handed out by God, an extra portion was given to "Jack!" He was a mindblowingly amazing accordion player, but could pick up about any instrument and make something beautiful happen. Many times he was the "piano man" with the tip jar. Any song on the planet could be picked, and Jack could bring it to life like Mozart. His real dream was to do music therapy with people in nursing home dementia wards. He taught many students in his younger years.

Jack was hilarious! His quick wit was entirely infectious! His flare for the dramatic even landed him the role of the Cowardly Lion in a community theater production of The Wizard of Oz.
