John M. Harvey, age 101 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010 at his home. Graveside Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. He will lie-in-state from 8:00 a.m. until 12 noon on Saturday at Vansant-Mills Chapel. Marvin was born in Lincoln, Missouri. He owned and operated the Harvey Electric Supply in North Kansas City, Missouri before retiring.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John William and Ida Ann (Tucker) Harvey; his wife, Dorothy and brother, Everett Harvey.

He is survived by a niece, Barbara Dietrich and husband Alfred of Overland Park, Kansas; a nephew, William Rook and wife, Becky of O'Fallon, Illinois; as well as four great nieces and nephews and a great great niece and a great great nephew.
