John "Robert" Giltner, age 71 years passed away Sunday November 22, 2015 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral service will be held on Friday November 27, 2015, 11:00 AM at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. Visitation will take place one hour prior. Interment will follow at Wall Cemetery Blairstown, Missouri. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Samaritan Center and may be left in care of the funeral home. John Robert was born to Everett and Lillian (Wall) Giltner on March 18, 1944 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He was a member of the Clinton Elks Lodge. John Robert enjoyed spending time outdoors. He was a retired part owner of Ludwikowski-Wortman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Margaret "Peg" Giltner. Among survivors are his long time companion Mary Kay Miller;
son, Mark (Julie) Wickencamp; daughters, Lucy (Bob) Cunningham, and Beth (John) Hall; grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, Zachary, Brett, Morgan, and Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Madison, and Tyler.
