John Richard Davis, age 94 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Friday, November 17, 2006 at his home. Memorial services will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Calhoun Cemetery, Calhoun, Missouri. Family will recieve friends one hour before the service on Tuesday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the Twin Lakes Hospice or American Heart Association and may be left at the funeral home.

John was born in Calhoun, Missouri. He was married to Erma Lee Clinton Davis who preceded him in death. He was a carpenter and farmer.

He is survived by one daughter, Sharon Gilkey and husband, Bill of Clinton, Missouri; two granddaughter, Jody Gilkey and Kim Stone and husband, Tim and two great grandchildren, Lauren and Quinton Stone.
