Joann Lawrence at age of 68 went to rest at her home in Lowry City on July 4th, 2026, surrounded by her family and fur babies. She is now reunited with her husband of 45 years Richard Lawrence, her dad Howard Smith, her sister Carol Beirman and brother David Smith, along with many other loved ones who have been waiting for her.

She is survived by her mom Lucille Johnson of Lowry City, two daughters, Penny and Cindy Lawrence of Lowry City, her son Richard Lawrence and wife Christina of Williamstown, New York, her granddaughter Brianna and great grandson Colton, along with many other nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Joann was an amazing cousin, friend, wife, mother, aunt, grandma, and great grandma. She has definitely taken a piece of a lot of peoples hearts with her but will also remain in so many hearts. She will not be forgotten and her memory will be carried on by everyone.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
