Jeffrey was born on September 10, 1959 in Sedalia, Missouri to Gilbert and Anne (Sagar) Lampton. Jeff and Bonnie were married on April 20, 1996. Being married for 28 years they loved and complemented each other. He was a graduate of Hickman Mills High School class of 1977, Westminster class of 1981 and Jeff was a member of the SAE fraternity.

Jeff loved working as an executive conference moderator for 20 groups at NCM Associates from 1994 until he retired in 2020. He was on the board of directors from 1996 until 2001. He was also the CEO of the company from 2001 through 2002.

Jeff was a proud collector of yard art and loved to show it off. He also had a passion for a good estate sale. Oh, how Jeff loved sports. It didn't matter what it was, which sport or game, it was. He especially enjoyed watching the Chiefs, Royals, and rugby. He would even watch bowling on TV. Most of all he loved watching his son Jon play rugby.  Jeff loved to laugh, and he was the life of the party.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Anne Lampton and both grandparents.

Survivors include his wife Bonnie Lampton and his son Jon Lampton of the home, his brother Kelley Lampton of Raymore, Missouri, his aunt Jeannie and uncle Don Gregory of Reno, Nevada and numerous cousins in Sedalia, Kansas City and St. Joseph. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
