Jeffery K. Simmons, age 58, passed away at his home Tuesday, August 25, 2020. Fond memories and condolences may be left at www.vansant-millsfunealhome.com .

Jeffery Keith Simmons was born in Clinton, Missouri on July 27, 1962, the son of James Kelly Simmons and Judith (Merriam) Siercks. Jeff worked construction for many years before taking a step back to help raise his two daughters after the unexpected death of his late wife. He later became a farm hand for several local farmers throughout the remaining years of his life. Jeff enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was an extremely hard worker. While his life might have been filled with hardships only he could understand, it gives the family comfort knowing he is finally at peace.

He is preceded in death by his later wife Lora Simmons and stepfather Robert Siercks.

Survivors include is parents; James (Brenda) Simmons of Clinton and Judith Siercks of Windsor, 1 brother Junior Simmons of Clinton, 1 sister, Joanna (Joel) Waggoner of Windsor, 3 daughters, Kayla, Kacie and Olivia Simmons of Windsor, 2 sons, Nicholas and George Simmons of Clinton, his companion Karen Nichols, and many loved friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in honor of Jeff.
