Jeanne C. Shireman, age 91 years, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Graveside services and interment will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Greenlawn Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society and may be left in care of the funeral home. Jeanne was born March 20, 1923 in Festus, Missouri the daughter of Harry and Cecilia (Davorka) Page. She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Jeanne worked as the Cole Camp Elementary School secretary for 20 years, and also helped her husband on their farm. She loved being a farm wife. Jeanne was very crafty-she enjoyed the Arts, sewing, gardening, ceramics, and she was a wonderful cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alfred, daughter, Suzanne Page Rollins, sister, Fern Page, and brother, Bud Page.

Survivors include her son, Mark Alfred (Reta) Shireman of Tightwad, Missouri, brother, Don (Mary) Page of Festus, Missouri, 2 sisters, Betty Page and Patty Mangen both of Festus, Missouri, 4 grandchildren; Sarah Bowman, Jess Rollins, Tonya Dody, and Melanie Jennex, 4 great-grandchildren; Max, Page, and Lela Bowman, and Hayden Dody, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
