Jason Burwell, age 42, of Lowry City, Missouri passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, October, 3 2023 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton, Missouri with a visitation from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jason Burwell Memorial Fund and can be left in care of the funeral home.

Jason Allen Burwell was born on August 21, 1981 in Osceola, Missouri to Ernest Allen Burwell, Jr. and Wynona Sue (Carey) Burwell.

In his free time he loved to fish, spend time with family, crack jokes, he always wanted to make people smile. He loved flying his drone and working on his car with Hunter. He was a tattoo artist and loved to draw. He enjoyed watching Fox News. It was his favorite. He was such an amazing and unforgettable person.

He is survived by his Mother Wynona Burwell, his children Kaitlynn Burwell, Alicia Burwell, and was a father figure to many including Marshall Anderson, his siblings, Jill Burwell, Jennifer Burwell, his fiancé Linda Veatch, nieces and nephews, Shane Terry, Carlie Terry, Oliver Terry and Amelia Terry. Kayli Roberts, Emma Burwell, Mya Burwell, Abby Burwell, Hanah Burwell, Hunter Burwell, Mateo Deemer, and a host of many others.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
