Jana L. Brent, age 38 years, of Clinton, Missouri, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at Brooke Chateau Nursing Home, Kansas City, Missouri. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be make to the Jana Brent Memorial Fund and left in care of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home. Jana was born July 21, 1977 in Great Bend, Kansas the daughter of Edward Brent and Christine (McWithey) DeHart. She was a good mother, above all things, her children always came first before everything else. After that she loved her animals. Jana's favorite color was pink. She was an avid fan of the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs. Jana was loved dearly by so many and she will be remembered and missed.

Jana was preceded in death by her father, Edward Brent from Wyoming.Among survivors is her mother, Christine DeHart of Clinton, MO, Her daughter Ajanae Lynne and son Azariah Chance of Kansas City, MO, brother Joshua DeHart, niece Hailea DeHart, nephew Michael DeHart all of Clinton, MO.
