Obituary

Jamie Oliver, age 36, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025 at her home in Clinton, Missouri. Jamies wishes were for cremation. There are no services planned at this time.

Jamie was born, April 17, 1988, to parents Willie James Oliver and Sarah Ellen Johnson. Jamie loved to spend her time with her daughter Sarah Alex and watching tv in her living room.

One of Jamie's biggest accomplishments was having her daughter and getting to watch her grow every single day. Jamie started her journey in life next to her life partner Harry Alex on February 14, 2007. They had two children together, a son Wyatt Alex that unfortunately passed away too soon; and a daughter Sarah Alex, 9, of Clinton, MO.

Jamie is survived by her father, Willie Oliver (Sondra), partner Harry Alex; daughter Sarah Alex; sister Chelsey Oliver (Chris Caswell), brothers Dale Oliver (Kambrea Trickett); and Willie (Sabryna) Oliver; nieces Erika, Serenity, Elizabeth, Zoei and Charisma; nephews Elijah, Rykin, Waylon, Hayden, and Jesse-James. Jamie is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jamie is preceded in death by her mother Sarah Johnson, son Wyatt Alex, step-grandfather Russell Leonard, grandmother Opal Castel, uncles Dale Johnson and Howard Groves Sr., aunt Norma Gene, and brother James Oliver.

"Jamie was a very kind soul, she stuck out to many others in this world. She hardly ever had anything bad to say about anyone or anything. If you ever needed something she almost always gave it to you. In many ways, she touched the hearts of her beloved. She always jaked to her sister, Chelsey, that all of her kids were really Jamie's. It just proved how much family really mattered to her. Any day you could ask any question, judgement free and she'd give the best answer to your understanding. Any day she'd have a nice cup of coffee and talk about Jesus, who she loved strongly and believed in. She'd pray for friends, family, and even some she didn't know if you only asked. She was strong and very brave, and was always a supporter of you. She also loved hugs and showing love and generosity. She was a great mother, daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and all around friend. Even if she isn't walking with us, on Earth anymore, she will never be gone, nor forgotten. Her memory will live on for ages to come."  -written by Jamie's niece, Erika.

Words Jamie wanted everyone to know, "When I do go home, I want you all to remember me with love…Because if you are hearing this I loved you. I want to thank you for being a part of my life and for letting me be a part of yours. I'll see you at home, brother/sister. I have to go see the Father now….xxx's and ooo's." P.S. Remember to love like Jesus…..

Bible verse for all to remember "For I am always aware of your unfailing love, and I have lived according to your truth." Psalms 26:3
