James R. Williams, age 47, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. A memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M. Thursday, September 12, 2013 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with a visitation one hour prior to the service. The family suggests memorial contributions to the James Richard Williams Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home. James was born December 20, 1965 in Clinton, Missouri the son of Richard and Betty (McFarlane) Williams. He worked 11 years for the city of Clinton as the animal control/code enforcement officer. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Clinton, Deepwater and Tightwad Fire Departments.

James was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ricky Williams.

He is survived by two sons, Richard Williams of Clinton, Missouri and Steven Williams of Loveland, Ohio; three daughters, Kristina Nall, Olivia and Audrey Schillings, all of Clinton, Missouri; one brother, Jerry McFarland of Tightwad, Missouri; four sisters, Sherri Polling of Tightwad, Missouri, Marnisa Henson, Sara Williams and Kristi McFarland all of Clinton, Missouri; as well as two grandchildren, Rexlee Nall and Brookelynn Nall.
