James Francis Pearcy, age 86 of Higginsville, Missouri (formerly of Deepwater) passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Meyer Care Center, Higginsville, Missouri. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, Novmeber 30, 2013 at Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. James was born in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of James F. and Willella (Hicks) Pearcy. He served in the U. S. Navy during W. W. II. He was a chief engineer for Missouri Public Service retiring after forty plus years of service.
He was a member of the experimental aircraft association and the steam engine association.

He was married to Anna Pauline (Tally) Pearcy who preceded him in death on October 31, 2004. He was also preceded in death by his parents; one son, Howard "Bud" Pearcy; two sisters, Evelyn Ruth Kunkler and Jo Ann Hargis and one brother, Paul Wesley Pearcy.

He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Dolan and Susan Sanders, both of Higginsville, Missouri; one sister, Hazel Jean Groves of North Kansas City, Missouri; four grandchildren, Jennifer Bowman, Ryan Matthew Terry, Christian Dane Terry and Jordan Sanders and three great grandchildren, Zoe, Kelsey and Hunter.

Services have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton.
