James A. (Jim) Ragsdel, age 82, passed away June 15, 2013 at his home in Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday. June 18, 2013 at Vansant-Mills Chapel,Clinton. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the chapel. Burial in Urich Cemetery, Urich, Missouri. Jim was born in Buffalo, Missouri on August 3, 1930, the son of Vester and Ella H. (Conrady) Ragsdel. He was a graduate of Urich High School. He was married to Barbara P. Ragsdel who preceded him in death on August 25, 2011. He was a farmer and owned R & L Radio and T V in Clinton. He was a member of the Urich Evangel Presbyterian Church, the Golden Valley Good Sam Club, the Urich American Legion Post 371 and a former member of the Eagles.

He was preceded in death by his son, James Andrew (Jackie) Ragsdel, II, his parents and his wife, Barbara.

He is survived by his son, Tim Ragsdel of Independence, Missouri; his daughter, Paula Lewis and husband, Dennis of Clinton; and his grandson, Drew Lewis.
