James Robin Hills, age 42, of Deepwater, passed away at his home on August 18, 2017. Funeral services will be held Weds., August 23, 2017 at First Assembly of God Church, Clinton at 11:00 AM. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM at the church. Burial Will be in the Vansant Road Cemetery, Clinton, MO.  The family suggests memorial contributions to the James R. James was born March 27, 1975 in Clinton, Missouri the son of Earnest and Beverly (Fulks) Hills.  He graduated from Lakeland High School in 1993.  James worked in the construction business continuing in his father's footsteps and becoming owner of Hills Home Remodeling  He also owned and operated Hills Tire and Auto.  James enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.  He loved his children and family dearly.  James was a member of the First Assembly of God of Clinton.

James was preceded in death by his father, Earnest "Gene" Hills in 2011 and his grandparents.

Survivors include his mother, Beverly Sue Hills of the home, the love of his life, Amanda Harness of the home, 4 children; J.R. Hills, Jenna Hills, Jessica Hills, and Hailey Hills all of the home, 2 siblings, Gary Hills of Odessa, Texas, and Diana Tirey of Clinton, Missouri, 2 nephews, Nathan Tirey and Robbie Hills, and a niece, Crystal Humerickhouse and numerous other family and friends.
