Jackie Hess, age 81, of Clinton, Missouri, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 24th, 2024 at Golden Valley Memorial Heathcare after a short illness. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 1:00-2:00 PM with the funeral service at 2:00 PM at the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri. Burial to follow in the Englewood Cemetery in Clinton, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made to the Henry County Memory Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Jacqueline Ann (Jackie) Hess, beloved wife of George W. Hess, rural Clinton, Missouri was born on July 10, 1942 in Springfield, Missouri to James E. (Pete) and Geanelle Rhoten.

She is survived by her husband, George, of 53 years, one son Doug Julian (Rhonda) and one daughter, Kim Julian, both of Clinton, Missouri, six grandchildren; Lisa, Amber, Casey, Clayton, Erin, and Brittney, several nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.

Jackie loved flowers, animals, feeding and watching the birds, and traveling many states with George. She will be sadly missed by all her family, many friends and neighbors.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
