Ira Donald "Don" Blystone, age 91, passed away at his home in Kansas City, Missouri Monday, December 24, 2012. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 28, 2012 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Don was born in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, the son of Jasper Augustus and Margaret "Barker" Blystone. He served in the Air Force during W.W. II and was stationed in the Virgin Islands. He met and married Millie in l945.
Don worked for Missouri Public Service for 36 years. He was an Elder in the Clinton Christian Church and a life member of V.F.W. Post 1894, Clinton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Martin Graham "Marty" Blystone and two sisters, Eleanor and Mildred.

He is survived by his wife, Millie of the home; his daughter, Ann Creighton of Overland Park, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Connor Creighton of Lawrence, Kansas and Sarah Creighton of Seattle, Washington.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
