Obituary

Inez "Jane" Huey, was born May 7, 1932 in Henry County, Missouri to Jud and Mabel (Cochran) Summers. Jane was the youngest of five sisters. She spent most of her childhood days growing up in and around the Leesville, Missouri area. In 1951 she married Merril Jones. To this union three children were born, Steve, Scott and Nancy. Jane loved children. When Nancy was a child Jane decided that she needed someone to play with so they became foster parents to Juretta who lived with their family for several years. Jane was a member of the Clinton Christian Church.

One June 7, 1986, Jane married Earl Huey. Jane and Earl loved playing Bingo. They had several dogs that became like family to them, especially Jane's poodles. She would spend hours making quilts for her children, grand-children and great grand-children. She also loved to bake. Jane proudly donated her quilts and cookies to help with fundraisers at church. Whether she was playing cards with her Canasta Club friends or meeting for morning coffee with Nadine she always made everyone laugh. She loved spending time with her family and friends most of all.
