Imogene Etter, age 86, of Clinton, Missouri, formerly of Wichita, Kansas, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012, at Golden Living Center-Westwood, Clinton. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 28, 2012, 1:00 p.m., at Resthaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Wichita, Kansas. Imogene was born in Tipton, Oklahoma the daughter of Ned and Juanita Pearl (Martin) Swearingen. She worked for Farmer's Insurance as Secretary before she retired. Imogene was a member of Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church and the Elks Ladies Auxiliary #427 of Wichita.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ned and Juanita Swearingen; her husband, Lendell in 1995 and her brother, Van Swearingen.

Imogene is survived by her son Gregg Etter and wife, Bonnie of Clinton; grandchildren, Gregg Jr. and wife Jung of Dallas, Texas, Alex, Nick and Ben all of Clinton and twin great granddaughters on the way.
