Ida M. Richardson, 96, Clinton, passed away Monday, November, 6, 2017 at Westwood Living Center, Clinton, Missouri.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri.  The family suggests memorial contributions to the Clinton Christian Church or Twin Lakes Hospice and may be left in care of the funeral home.  Fond memories and condolences may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com .

Ida was born May 29, 1921 in Clinton, Missouri the daughter of Archie and Lydia (Seaton) Stokes.  She was a housewife and worked part-time at Katz Drugstore.  Ida was a member of the Clinton Christian Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Derward in 1998, 3 brothers; Arthur Stokes, Thurman Stokes and Howard Stokes, and one granddaughter, Lorrie Ann Richardson.

Survivors include her children, Ellis Richardson (Linda) and Cherry Thornton both of Overland Park, Kansas, a sister, Alma Waugh of Clinton, Missouri, 4 grandchildren; Jay Scott Richardson, David Ray Richardson, Tasha VanBecealere and Polly Cicero, and 6 great grandchildren; Reese Richardson, Jonah Richardson, Samantha Cicero, Tye Cicero, Jesse Neibaum, and Xander VanBecealere.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
