Howard Wesley Schmidli, age 89 of Deepwater, Missouri passed away Sunday, February 25, 2007 at Country Club Care Center, Warrensburg, Missouri. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Finey Cemetery, Deepwater, Missouri. Family will recieve friends from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Friday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the Finey Baptist Church or Macular Degeneration and may be left at the funeral home.

Howard was born in the Finey Community and was a life long resident. He was a farmer before he retired. He was a member of the Finey Baptist Church for 74 years.

He is survived by his wife, Dorathy of the home; two sons, Joe Schmidli and wife, Mary of Independence, Missouri and Jim Schmidli and wife, Tanna of Alexandra, Virginia; two daughters, Ruth Schmidli of the home and Sue Engelmann and wife, Paul of Warrensburg, Missouri as well as nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
