Howard G. Hale, age 84, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Clinton Healthcare & Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Clinton Memory Gardens, Clinton. The family suggests memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation and may be left in care of the funeral home. Howard was Vice President of the Golden Valley Blue Grass Association and President of Midwest Racing Pigeon Association. He was also a member of Northeast Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Vivian (Howard) Hale, his wife, Betty, four brothers; Harold, R.E., Charlie, and Rex Hale, and a great-grandson, Kamdyn.

Among survivors are his three sons; Mike Hale and wife Susan of Lone Jack, MO, Lee Hale and wife Kathy of Greenwood, MO, and Brian Hale and wife Vicki of Clinton, MO, one brother, Tom Hale of Lee's Summit, MO, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangement have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton.
