Helga Etters, ago 75 of Clinton, Missouri, passed away at her home on February 18, 2011.
Private family graveside services will be Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Clinton Memory Gardens Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 7 P.M. Tuesday at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. Fond memories may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com.
Helga was born in Berlin, Germany. She was married to William J. Etters who preceded her in death on September 13, 2001. She and Bill owned Wiley (Uchie's) Fine Foods and later the Windmill Restaurant.
She was well known in the area and her interests included bowling, sewing, painting and bridge.
She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Ann Sell of Lincoln, Missouri; her three sons, Michael Etters of Clinton, Bill Alfred Etters of Odessa, Missouri and Bob James Etters of Warrensburg, Missouri; one brother, Gunther Schal of Berlin, Germany as well as seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
