Helen Fay Houk, age 88, Clinton, Missouri passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Warsaw Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw, Missouri. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral service is on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 11:00am also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Parks Chapel Cemetery, Tightwad, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions to be made to the Henry County Memory Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Helen "Fay" was born on March 3, 1931 in Leesville to Ted and Norene Barnes. She was famous for her homemade noodles. She loved gardening, sewing, canning and was a protector to her kids and grandchildren, who called her "Grandma Busy Day". Fay worked as a seamstress at Unitog, she also worked at Clearfield Cheese.

Fay was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, 3 brothers, her husband, Carl Houk, son, Ron Houk, grandson, Jeremy Houk and great-grandson, Brody Houk.

Fay is survived by 4 brothers, 2 sisters, son, Wayne Houk, Hermitage, 2 daughters, Deb Houk, Winsor and Carla Braun, Clinton, 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
