Helen Frances Corum- Moon Flower, age 92, of Brownington, Missouri, passed away peacefully, Friday, April 10th, 2026 at her home. Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.

Helen was born on August 26, 1933 in Clinton, Missouri. She was the daughter of Homer and Goldie Johnson. She graduated from high school and went on to work as a seamstress in a factory for a number of years. She was married to Raymond F. Corum.

Helen was a person of passion, known for her love of sewing not only for work but also sewing clothes for her children, making many beautiful quilts and wining several ribbons. Also sewing Reqalias-native American clothing. She also enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening both vegetables and flowers with petunias and moonflowers being her favorite.

Helen also loved riding bucking horses and raising animals of all kinds

She is survived by her sons; Gary - Spotted Elk of Deepwater, Missouri, and Larry Corum of Tightwad, Missouri, 2 grandchildren Justin C. Corum of Grandview, Missouri and Karla Rae Corum of Lees Summit, Missouri, great grandchildren, Tyler and MaKinzie Corum of Grandview, Missouri, Taya Corum of Grain Valley, Missouri, and Solisia Damrongchai of Lees Summit, Missouri, and a great great granddaughter Preslee Keckler of Grain Valley.

She is preceded in death her loving husband Raymond Corum, her parents, and her brother Carl Johnson.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri and are pending at this time.
