Helen V. Calvert, age 91, of Clinton, Missouri, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Golden Living Center-Westwood, Clinton, Missouri. Graveside Services will be held at the Klickat Cemetery, Mossyrock, Washington. Fond memories may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com.

Helen was born in St. Joseph, Missouri the daughter of Charles M. and Philomena A. (Bernstine) Heerlein. She graduated from Pickett High School, St. Joseph, Missouri, in 1940. She was married to Lewis J. Calvert, who preceded her in death in 1992. Helen was a homemaker and she was a member of the Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Philomena Heerlein; her husband, Lewis J. Calvert; step-daughter, Deloris (Calvert) Woodhead; sisters, Regina P. Heerlein, Mary M. (Heerlein) DeShon, brothers, Maurice E. Heerlein and John J. Heerlein.

Helen is survived by her step-daughter, Elta E. (Calvert) Heerlein; two sisters, Elizabeth Stunz of Clinton, Missouri, Carol J. Coats and husband Lee of Union Star, Missouri and one brother, Charles L. Heerlein of St. Joseph, Missouri; as well as several nieces and nephews.
