Hazel A. Scott, age 88, of Clinton, Missouri passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Adair Village in Clinton. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at the Vansant Road Cemetery in Clinton, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Croix Hospice and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Hazel was born on November 19, 1937 in Coal, Missouri to Walter and Mildred McNeely.

On April 24, 1957 Hazel married Marshall Shelby Scott. Hazel enjoyed fishing, camping, reading books, trips to Branson, baby sitting, crocheting and talking to her neighbors.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Walter and Mildred McNeely , her sister June Hammonds, and brother Gene McNeely.

Survivors include her husband Shelby Scott of the home, her brother Charlie (Karla) McNeely of Clinton, Missouri, and sister-in-law Karen McNeely.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
