Harvey Cope, age 82 years, passed away September 12, 2026, at his home in Clinton, Missouri. Harvey's wishes were to be cremated. Harvey was born May 16, 1944, in Lebanon, Missouri the son of Owen Newton Cope and Wanitta Irene (Hemphill) Cope. Harvey had 10 siblings: Owen Newton Cope, Jr., James Russell Cope, Jace Cope, Jerry Argus Cope, Jed Cope, Lexi Joe Cope, Jesse Cope, Justin Cope, John Cope and Joliebeth Cope. He worked in car sales in the automotive industry.

He is survived by 4 children; Bradley King, Jay Cope, Steven Cope, and Johnathan Cope, 9 grandchildren; Kayla, Gracie, Cody, Adam, Caitlyn, Steven, Kourtney, Joseph and Lexi, and 10 great-grandchildren; Sailor Bell, Violet Hughes, Hudson Hughes, Ezlyn Hughes, Owen Hughes, Gunner, Gracie, Harlem, Hayven and Cowan.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
