Harold "Dean" Tootle, age 68, of Coal , Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 surrounded by family at his home.  Visitation for family and friends will be 10:00am, Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.  Funeral service will be 11:00am.  Interment in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton.  Family suggests memorials be made to Twin Lakes Hospice and may be left in care of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton.  Condolences and fond memories can be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com .

Dean was born in Shawnee, OK to Etta Earline(Shultz) Tootle and raised by stepfathers Ora Kenneth Wicklin and Homer Rich.  He attended Truman High School in Independence, Missouri.  He was a baptized at the age of 12 at the Waldo Avenue Baptist Church.  He loved to restore antique cars.  His favorite was his 1966 Ford F100.  He and Julie Sue East were married in 1989 in Kansas City, Missouri.  To this union two children were born, Christopher and Stephanie. He was a truck driver for 20 years when he was younger.  He was a bobcat operator in heavy equipment construction.

Dean is survived by his wife, Julie, of the home; sister, Donna Ruth Fordemwalt; brother, Kenneth Allen Wicklin; his children, Christopher (Masy) Tootle and Stephanie Tootle all of Clinton; grandchildren, Mason and AeraBella Tootle; and his furbaby, Sheldon; also two children from previous marriage, Justin Tootle and Deana Tootle.

He was preceded in death by his mother; both stepfathers; a sister, Diane Marie Wicklin and a brother, Richard Glenn Tootle.
