Harold E. Smith, age 82 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Clinton United Methodist Church with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Harold was manager of Russell Brothers Clothing in Clinton for several years. He was a farmer and stockman. He was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Henry County Cattleman's Association. He was the former Presiding Commissioner of Henry County.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie and a daughter, Karol Meoli of the home; two step granddaughters, Lisa and Nicole Meoli of Seattle, Washington; one brother, Norman Smith and Vinnie of Clinton and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Georgia Smith of Clinton, Janice and Richard DeMayo of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Charlene and Ray Hughes of Kansas City, Missouri, Sandra and Ross Padgham of Wichita, Kansas, Gloria and Rick Rose of Bellflower, California and Donald and Lori Organ of Gulf Hammock, Florida.
