Gwen J. McGlade, age 89 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Monday, June 2, 2008 at Golden Living Center-Westwood, Clinton.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2008 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with an Eastern Star Service following the regular service. Burial will be in the Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends 6:30-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. Memorial contributions can be made to Clinton Senior Center or Twin Lakes Hospice and may be left at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home. Gwen was born in Garland, Missouri. She was a great cook and cooked for many organizations including the Clinton Rotary Club and the Mid Day Optimist Club. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Clinton; the Order of Eastern Star where she was a past matron and a past member of the Roberta Rebekah Lodge, Clinton.

Survivors include her children, Debbie Hublou and husband, Don and Ronnie McGlade and wife, Patty, all of Clinton and Tom McGlade of Raytown, Missouri; one brother, Paul Gilbert of Overland Park, Kansas; five grandchildren, Tim, Ronnie, Jeremy, Joshua and Breanna and three great grandchildren, Jamie, Ethan and Alek.
