Goldie Opal Cromer, age 96 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Saturday, October 7, 2006 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Tuesday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to P.A.W.S. and may be left at the funeral home.

Goldie was born in Deepwater, Missouri. She was married to Charles Russell Cromer who preceded her in death on January 26, 1991.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Bert R. and Gertrude May Meadors Bryant and seven siblings, Jewel Marie Bryant, Roy Bryant, Chester Bryant, Reuben Bryant, Bud Bryant, Rosa White and Atha Young.

She is survived by a nephew, Eugene Singer of Clinton; three nieces, Vickie Batschelett of Clinton, Shirley Underwood of Sedalia, Missouri and Betty Ann Stephens of Gladstone, Missouri; a great niece, Lynette Kreisler of Clinton, Missouri and a number of other great nieces and nephews and other relafives and friends.
