Gloria E. Pirtle, age 74 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Clinton Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Clinton. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Clinton, Missouri with interment in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 A.M. prior to the Mass at the church. Gloria was a secretary for an opthamologist. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Altar Society.

Surviving is her husband, William J. "Bill" Pirtle; daughter Michelle and husband Chris Smith; four grandchildren, Clint and wife Tracy Hendrix, Jeff and wife April Lynn Hendrix, April Hendrix, and Christopher Smith; seven great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Brooklyn, Brody, Alyssa, Emily, Aliyah, and Erica; three brothers Peter Kouwan, David Kouwan, and Christopher Kouwan; and a sister, Sue Adey.
