Glenn Richard Henry, Sr., loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, passed away peacefully at home on December 10, 2021 at the age of 72 with his beloved wife and dogs at his side. Per Glenn's wishes, a small, informal service was held by the immediate family on December 14 ^th at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the National Brittany Rescue and Adoption Network (www.nbran.org).

Glenn was born on August 10, 1949 in Hartford, CT to James Riley "Pat" and Caroline Irene (Matter) Henry.  A great lover of animals, Glenn worked for many years at Blue Ridge Stables under renowned American Saddlebred trainer Wilber "Sug" Utz it was during this time he met the great love of his life, Sharon Calloway, whom he married on November 23, 1979.  He would go on to build a highly successful career in industrial equipment sales thanks in large part to his affable, loyal, and charming nature.

Glenn was an avid hunter and passed his love of the outdoors onto many of his children and grandchildren.  He loved the water and any activity that involved it whether fishing, scuba diving, swimming, or just sitting on a beach.  A skilled builder, the one thing Glenn built that he was the most proud of was his family, and he was never happier than when he was able to spend time with his family playing games, putting a puzzle together or even just talking.

Glenn was preceded in death by his father, Pat, mother, Irene, and brother, James Riley Henry, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon, his four children, Carrie, Glenn Jr. (Bobby), Margaret Mary, and Katie as well as several grandchildren and a niece.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
