Geraldine A. Justis, age 84 years, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Golden Living Center-Westwood, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington DC 20090-6011, or they may be left in care of the funeral home. Jerri was born February 24, 1929 in Rockford, Illinois. She was one of four children born to Gail and Joseph Waller, and spent her childhood years in Deepwater, Missouri.

She married her childhood sweetheart, Jesse, on August 23, 1982.

A beautician by trade, she ran a beauty salon out of her home for many years in Cosby, MO. After raising her family, Jerri also taught at a local beauty school.

Jerri and Jesse were members of the local Elks Lodge and would travel many miles to attend auctions and garage sales. They loved to socialize with friends and frequented local community events. Jerri was known to be a fantastic story teller, card player, and would attend the casino whenever her hand itched.

Jerri is survived by her husband, Jesse, and four children: Kathryn Hood of Mesa, AZ, Richard Hood (Cheryl) of Runnells, IA, Gail Murray (Bill) of Indianapolis, IN, and Frank Hood (Pam) of Liberty MO, two stepsons: Danny Justis (Christi) of Clinton, MO and Daryl Justis of Kansas City, MO and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
