Georgia Irene Williams age 102,of Clinton, Missouri, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Adair Village, Clinton, Missouri.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri.  The family suggests memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church of Clinton and may be left in care of the funeral home.  Fond memories and condolences can be left at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com.

Georgia Irene (Merriman) Williams was born September 9. 1919 in Lowry City, Missouri the daughter of Ralph Oliver and Pearl (Park) Merriman.  She was a homemaker.  Georgia was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton where she played piano.  She loved music, doing crosswords, shopping and being out and about.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Cyril, 3 siblings; Clyde Merriman, Oliver Merriman and Icle Merriman, and a grandson, Timothy Williams.

Survivors include sons; Ronald Williams (Linda) and Rick Williams (Sheila) both of Clinton, Missouri, 3 grandchildren; Melinda Owens (Shawn) of DePere, WI, Michelle Mason of Springfield, MO and Kelly Williams of Clinton, MO, 2 great-grandchildren, Lauren Owens of Chicago, IL and Seth Owens of DePere, WI, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
