Gary L. Smith, age 45 of Odessa, Missouri passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital, Blue Springs, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, Odessa, Missouri. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel on Wednesday. Graveside services will be 4:30 P.M., Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at the Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri. Gary was born September 20, 1964, the son of Gary S. and Doris (Morgan) Smith in Clinton, Missouri. He worked for Advanced Industries in Odessa.

He is survived by his son, Kyle Smith of Oak Grove, Missouri; one step-son, Shawn Fisher of Mayview, Missouri; one step daughter, Amber Wood of Oak Grove, Missouri; his ex-wife Dawn Romans of Oak Grove; two uncles, J. C. Smith of Clinton, Missouri and Robert M. Smith and wife, Donna of Marshall, Missouri and their children and one aunt, Shirley Coon an husband, Carl of Odessa, Missouri and their children.
