Gary Michael Burton, Jr., age 47 years, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at his home. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Gary Burton, Jr. Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home. Gary was born July 11, 1967 the son of Gary Sr. and Diane Burton. He worked in the construction business as a roofer.

Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Diane, and his paternal grandfather.

Survivors include his lifelong friend and companion, Laurie Littlejohn of the home; two children, Colton Michael Burton and Emma Renee Burton of Clinton, Missouri; step-daughter, Megan Foster; 2 brothers, Noel B. Burton and Charles A. Burton, both of Clinton; his father, Gary M. Burton, Sr. of Warsaw, Missouri; grandmother, Emma I. Burton of Deepwater, Missouri; uncle, Dale Johnson; nieces, Tori Lynn Burton and Lani Mae Danielle Burton; nephew, Cody Benjamin Burton; great nephew, Bently Leo Ryan Hodson and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
