Rev. Frank E. Severs, age 82, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at Clinton Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Gideons International and can be left in care of the funeral home. Frank was born July 31, 1931 in Neosho, Missouri the son of Clifford and Ruth (Tachlet) Severs. He was a graduate of Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary. Frank served as Pastor for the Oakland Baptist Church in Clarksburg, Missouri while also working for the Jackson County Juvenile Court System for 20+ years. Frank was a member of the Long Lane Lion's Club in Long Lane, Missouri. He was also a member of the Oakland Baptist Church in Clarksburg, Missouri for 25 years, as well as many other small country churches also. He impacted the lives of his grandkids, nieces and nephews greatly.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Among survivors is his wife of 47 years, Meta, one son, Dwayne (Stephanie) Severs of Clinton, Missouri, and 3 grandkids.
