Frances M. Mitchell, age 87 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Clinton Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Clinton. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Saturday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to Twin Lakes Hospice and may be left at the funeral home. Frances was born near Ladue, Missouri. She was married to Harry Victor Mitchell who preceded her in death on May 31, 2001. She was a telephone operator for United Telephone Company for twenty years before she retired. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Clinton.
She is survived by four sons, Wayne Mitchell and James Mitchell and wife, Kim of Clinton, Robert Mitchell and wife, Teresa of Wellington, Missouri and Dale Mitchell and wife, Carol of Independence, Missouri as well as eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
