Floyd Harrison Poe, age 71, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at his home in Edwards, MO. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Bethel Campground Cemetery, Edwards, MO. Floyd was born on November 20, 1940 in Kansas City, MO to Helmer and Florence (Hogue) Poe.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on his kids and grandkids cars, and spending time with family-especially enjoying his time on the farm and his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by one son, Edgar Gene Poe.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Frances Poe, two daughters; Lois Gallo and husband Jason of Diamondhead, MS, and Linda Nicholson of Osage Beach, MO, three sons; Floyd D. Poe and wife Tammy of Edwards, MO, Bruce Poe of Gulfport, MS, and Walker Foster of Edwards, MO, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
