Flossy H. Gatzemeyer, age 80 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Friday, September 21, 2007 at her home. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, September 24, 2007 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Monday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the charity of your choice.

Flossy was born in Hermann, Missouri, the daughter of Frank and Carrie Katherine (Vogel) Hoxel. She was married to Earl Gatzemeyer who preceded her in death on January 31, 2004. She was a member of the V.F. W. Auxiliary, Hermann and the Golden Valley Quilters Guild.

She is survived by one son, Gregory Earl Gatzemeyer and wife, Lea Ann of Montrose, Missouri; two daughters, Susan Braselton of Columbia, Missouri and Judy C. Darwin of Hurst, Texas; one sister, Mildred Thuli of Hermann, Missouri; six grandchildren, Carrie, Gavin, Kate, Scott, Grant and Grady and one great grandson, Jacob.
