Florenda "Frenda" Mae Brockman, age 56 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Missouri. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1910 N. Vansant Road, Clinton, Missouri. Florenda was the precious and beloved daughter of Estle and Mary Lancaster. Florenda was born on May 23, 1955 in Bakersfield, California. She spent much of her youth in California before she and her family moved to Oregon in 1971, where she later met the man who became her husband. Florenda was married to her husband of 36 years, Harvey Brockman, on January 4, 1975 in Bend, Oregon. She had three daughters, Dia, Shaurene and Shaurone and one son, Shaun, all born in Oregon. Florenda and her family moved to Okalhoma in 1990 for a short time before moving to Clinton, Missouri in 1991, where she has lived since. Florenda was a beloved wife and mother and being one of Jehovah's Witnesses, she, along with her husband, took great interest in their children's spiritual training. Her children brought her much joy.

"Frenda", as she was known by most, was a most generous and loving person. Because of her love for people, Florenda gave of her time, energy, and resources to her family, friends, and others as she was able.

Florenda is survived by her parents Estle Tenuon Lancaster and Mary Virginia Lancaster of Shawnee, Oklahoma; her brothers, Dana Trent Lancaster of McCloud, Oklahoma and Russ Talmadge Lancaster of Poto, Oklahoma also her husband Harvey Gordon Brockman of Clinton, Missouri and her daughters Dia Fashawn Weed of Roswell, New Mexico, Shaurene Amber Brockman and Shaurone Ember Brockman both of Clinton, Missouri and her son, Shaun Trumayne Brockman of Roswell, New Mexico.
