Fern Taylor, age 83, passed away Friday, September 14, 2012 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, MO. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 7-8:30 P.M. Monday, September 17, 2012 also at the Vansant-Mills Chapel. Interment will be in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. The family suggests memorial contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church, American Diabetes Association, or American Heart Association. Fern was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was a Sunday School and Bible School teacher. She was also a member of Sac-Osage Al-Anon and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

Fern was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Chuck, three brothers; Jesse, Elmer "Pete", and an infant brother, and three sisters; Wilma, Dorothy, and Margie.

Among survivors are her daughter, Linda Sue Taylor of the home, one sister, Mary Gregg of Creighton, MO, and a number of nieces and newphews, which include; Diana Munsterman of California, MO, Joan Brakeville of Lee's Summit, MO, and William Taylor of Liberty, MO.
