Everett L. Gowin, age 61, of Clinton, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Missouri. Everett's wishes were to be cremated. No services at this time.

Everett Lee Gowin was born on February 5, 1962 in Tacoma, Washington the son of Henry and Dora (High) Gowin.

Everett enjoyed baseball, playing guitar, fishing and hunting. He worked in construction and was a mechanic. He loved being with his family and friends and his dog name jawbones.

Everett was preceded in death by his parents, Dora May High, and Henry Clay Gowin Sr, his uncle Virgil Gifford and aunt Sequoia Zumwalt.

Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Gowin Mason (Dan) of Clinton, Missouri, his stepfather, Allan High of Clinton, Missouri, one grandson Allan Mason of Clinton, Missouri, two brothers, Henry Gowin of Blairstown, Missouri, John Gowin and sister in law April Hopkins of Green Ridge, Missouri, three sisters, Mona Jewett of Tacoma, Washington, Loretta Kelly of Sedalia, Missouri, Helen Gowin of Warsaw, Missouri, one stepbrother Curtis High of Clinton, Missouri, his girlfriend Dianna Riegel, and ex-wife's Shirley Gowin and Deana Haralson, niece Ashley Gowin of Warsaw, Missouri, 7 nephews; Justin Gowin of Colorado, Jordan Gowin of Warsaw, Missouri, Dakota Wheeler of Sedalia, Missouri, Jimmy Sorchack of Wisconsin, Clayton Gowin, Zack Gowin, Dallas Gowin of Green Ridge, Missouri, 7 great nephews, best friend Robert Elliott, and numerus other family and friends.
